We work to ensure that people can fully and meaningfully exercise their cultural rights in their everyday lives. Culture is essential to the integral development of human beings.

Mission
To promote the dissemination, reflection, creation, and dialogue around cultures, the arts, and heritage, engaging with diverse territories and fostering community in order to contribute to ensuring the exercise of cultural rights.


Vision
To become a national and international benchmark, generating a diverse, contemporary, high-quality cultural offering with a strong social purpose that contributes to social cohesion and people’s quality of life.

The Centro Cultural Palacio La Moneda Foundation is a private, non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors composed of six members.

President
Drina Rendic Espinosa
Appointed by the Minister of Cultures, Arts and Heritage

A business administrator and cultural manager with over four decades of experience in the arts sector, she has developed an outstanding career in the promotion and dissemination of the arts both in Chile and internationally. She has led the Chilean Chapter of the National Museum of Women in the Arts and the International Women’s Forum, promoting initiatives aimed at increasing the visibility of women’s artistic work and strengthening women’s leadership in the cultural sector.

Alan Trampe Torrejón
National Deputy Director of Museums, Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage

He currently serves as President of the Ibermuseums Program and is recognized for his commitment to the development of Chilean museology. With extensive experience in heritage and culture, he has led the National Plan for the Comprehensive Improvement of Museums.

Mauricio Hurtado Navia
Director of DIRAC (Division of Cultures, Arts, Heritage and Public Diplomacy)

Former Ambassador of Chile to China, he has an extensive political career. He served as a professional at the Directorate of Regional Multilateral Integration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and represented Chile in Cuba during the second administration of Sebastián Piñera.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Executive Director
Regina Rodríguez Covarrubias

Executive Director of the Centro Cultural La Moneda. She is an editor and consultant specializing in cultural projects. A journalist from the University of Chile, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain), a postgraduate degree in Sociology from ISDIBER, and a Diploma in European Studies from Cervantes University.

With over thirty years of experience in both the public and private sectors, she has led major international projects across Latin American and European countries. She promoted public support for the export of Chilean cinema and the publishing sector through ProChile, where she also served as National Coordinator for Performing and Visual Arts within the Department of Creative Industries. Additionally, she was Director of ProChile Milan and Executive Secretary of the Book Fund, responsible for implementing Chile’s National Book and Reading Policy (2015–2020).
